High Intensity Gait Training at Home
How can you do high intensity gait training at home and without a treadmill?
It's all about getting your heart rate up and increasing your level of exertion.
Here are ways to try to do that:
Walk without an assistive device
Walk with resistance (whether your therapist is pulling from behind or you are pushing something)
Walk uphill
DO NOT attempt these exercises without your doctor’s approval or with therapist present to monitor your response to exercise.
