Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) focuses on improving function and quality of life for individuals with physical impairments or disabilities.

PM&R physicians treat a wide range of conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, muscles, and joints. They work collaboratively with other medical professionals to manage conditions such as spinal cord injury, brain injury, stroke, and orthopedic injuries.

Whether you're managing a chronic condition or recovering from a neurological injury, our team is dedicated to helping you optimize your recovery and improve your overall quality of life.

What to Expect

Before Your Visit

Once you’ve scheduled your initial consultation, we’ll ask you to share your labs, imaging, and medical records. We will also ask you to complete a few forms that are specific to your health concerns. We will review this information prior to your first visit so that we can be familiar with your clinical history when we meet.

During Your First Visit

Initial visits are always in person.
We’ll spend the first part of the visit talking about your history and your goals.

Next, we’ll complete a physical exam.

Then we’ll talk through what we’ve found in your history, exam, and any diagnostic testing that’s been completed. We’ll discuss your diagnoses & any additional testing that might be needed.

Then we’ll discuss a treatment plan and next steps.

After Your First Visit

If you choose to continue working with us, we’ll set a time to review any diagnostic testing & your response to treatment.

You may choose to pay for visits as needed, or you may select a membership option, depending on which option makes the most sense for you.

Medicare and/or Medicaid: We are not permitted to submit billing for reimbursement for Medicare or Medicaid.

Please contact us if you would like information about sliding scale coverage.

Valley PM&R is a Direct Specialty Care practice. The Direct Care model provides transparent pricing and allows patients to pay healthcare professionals directly instead of involving a third-party payer.

By eliminating the complexities of the traditional insurance-based billing system, we can spend more quality time with our patients. You can choose to pay for a single visit as needed, or you can select the bundled membership option, which often makes more sense for patients who need frequent visits and/or more coordination of care with PT, OT, Speech and other healthcare professionals

Private insurance: We are an Out-of-Network Provider with private insurances. We can verify your benefits and submit a Superbill for reimbursement if requested.
